Alyssa Castronovo

Alyssa Castronovo has a well-rounded background in law and psychology that provides her with a unique perspective on the implementation of creative strategies to resolve complex legal issues. She assists clients in a variety of litigation and non-litigation matters involving family law, trusts and estate planning and contract law.

Throughout her family law practice, Alyssa encourages clients to successfully achieve their goals, preserve their dignity, and protect their children's emotional well-being by employing modern methods of collaboration and mediation. She understands that every family law case is different, and in certain matters it is more appropriate to settle than it is to engage in costly litigation. However, if litigation should become the only pathway to resolution, she will vigorously and effectively represent her client's interests.

All of Alyssa's clients benefit from her ability to solve complex legal matters, her passion for the law, and her genuine work ethic. She is fully committed to her clients, and her compassion and straightforward demeanor allow her to cut to the heart of their legal problems. Alyssa holds a Juris Doctor degree from Penn State Law-University Park, as well as Bachelor degrees in both Psychology and Political Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Upon graduating from Penn State law school, she was awarded the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) Eric D. Turner Award for being the law student who "best exemplified the positive attributes of a matrimonial lawyer" largely due to her work with the Advanced Family Law Clinic, where she handled a variety of family law cases ranging from grandparent visitation, protection from abuse, equitable distribution, divorce and child custody. She was also inducted into the Order of Barristers, a national honorary association for individuals who excelled in advocacy during their law school career.

Alyssa is originally from Chicago, but has chosen to make her home in Nashville. She is licensed to practice law in the State of Tennessee and is admitted to practice in all Tennessee state courts.
